in the iowa growing season, we are proud to source blooms from area farmers and growers. in the iowa off season, all source farms are veriflora certified, as well as certified in one or multiple of the following:

the rainforest alliance, fair trade, organic, and/or fair flowers.

our large supplier’s facilities compost appropriate flower waste, use energy efficient coolers, reuse packaging both on-site and accept cardboard return, and use high efficiency lighting with motion sensor controls to reduce excess power usage.

foam free floral design

we are proud to be a foam-free florist whenever possible. floral foams never fully break down, leaving micro-plastics in our water and creating dust that is harmful to our respiratory system. floral foam is a water absorbed material that has been used for decades used to hold stems into place in containers and installations. we have taken extra measures to cut foam out of almost all our design processes, using sustainable and reusable materials instead to create beautiful and meaningful designs.

we are proud to work with East One coffee roasters out of Brooklyn, NY as our regular coffee provider. their coffees are responsibly sourced from farms across the world.

supporting local and handmade

our goods come from as close as next door, and as far as across an ocean to provide unique gifts, self care items and apothecary style goods to our guests. all goods are made by independent makers and small brands. we look forward to expanding our list as our journey continues!
